Vietnam is currently the largest exporter of Cashew Kernels in the world with volume accounting for 80% of the global production and is the world’s top producer of Cashew for the past 16 years.

Cultivated area: ~320,000 hectares
Total output: 644,000 tons
KEY CASHEW AREAS:
1.Southeast: 195,200 hectares
Binh Phuoc, Dong Nai, Binh Thuan, Ninh Thuan, Tay Ninh, Ba Ria Vung Tau.
2.Central Highlands: 89,600 hectares
Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Lam Dong, Kon Tum.
3.South Central Coast: 35,200 hectares
Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa.
MAJOR IMPORT COUNTRIES:
